Synopsis:
Buntarou doesn't know what he wants to do in the future. He does not have any kind of dream that he wants to pursue, so currently he just spends his days hanging around with his friends. One day, his classmate Sayuki asks him if he wants to help with development of a gal game. She says that she had become interested in his help after she read one his works intended for the drama club. Buntarou doesn't know anything about gal games, but Sayuki claims that she has the ability to make it a success. Can they make the game, and will it be a success like she claims it will be? This is the story of youths taking a daring step into the unknown...

Necropinion: I prefer it than SaeKano, similar plot but dropped ep.0 last year

I liked SaeKano so i am giving this series a chance. This first episode was pretty good to watch. Characters were pretty good. Bunta is a hardworking guy who does need some help to find his future goal. Sayuki talks in a way of being a hardcore gamer and may have some hidden past as she looked way too interested in that boy and his little sister. Bunta's friends are nice with the girl actually not being romantically interested in Bunta..If it keeps up it can be a good series to watch..

It is indeed fun to see how they all react. Even Bunta is showing that he is interested in some parts like the art and maids.

I wonder what happened to Sayuki's brother? She makes it sound like he is unable to work anymore..

She makes it sound like he is unable to work anymore..Maybe his game got 'Master down' as ep.3 hinted? so, Yuka wasn't romantically interested in Bunta like you said but... after that camp most likely now she is :/ with the fujoshi joining, is more lively when her and Sayuki's opinions clash

Indeed it feels like he never got his game ready. It feels like something bad happened to him and Sayuki tries to make up for it. We will probably see it in a later episode..
Yuka does seem to starting to get jealous at anyone near Bunta. Maybe she will cause another problem for the group when she acknowledges her feelings..
Teruha is very good as an opposite to Sayuki. She does not hold back at stating her opinion and that is just what that group needs.

Yuka does seem to starting to get jealous at anyone near Bunta.Already seems like she's showing her jealousy subtly about Sayuki, teasing his struggle to come with a plot at ep.4 start... At least he could manage thanks to Blooter's advice, also that Yuki recovered who got more trouble by overwork

So now they get to deal with some real time problems. How to act when in a slump and the danger of getting overworked...It was okay to show these problems as they do happen when a group of inexperienced people start something difficult. Sayuki felt a bit strange about that small drawing...did she want something else to be the sign for the group??

It was indeed a tense situation. Ando and Sayuki still are on different sides. Ando as a sort of loose cannon and Sayuki as one who wants to have everything under strict orders. Both did somehow come as sort of compromise. Bunta really is a people person who can mediate between them. The episodes seem to focus on human real time problems in a group: I wonder which problem will occur in the next episode:

This rivalry between them feels a bit like the Yozora VS Sena head-butting all throughout Haganai and Haganai-Next.

QUOTE (Knorris908 @ Feb 07 2016, 01:35 PM)This rivalry between them feels a bit like the Yozora VS Sena head-butting all throughout Haganaiwatching today's mandatory beach ep.6, Teruha is like Rika and Sena's perfect fusion' (fujoshi+conceited hottie)... instead Yozora would be Sayuki and Yuka's bad fusion' (naive+childhood tomboy), almost flat trying to hide any skin too

This was indeed the mandatory swimsuit episode as it said so itself. It didn't seem to add much to the story except that it helped to relax tensions between Ando and Sayuki. They are different and will continue to fight but they know of each other that they do have the same goal. The little rift in the group is also clear now: Yuka's feelings are showing..that is bound to give some real trouble. I must say that until now all the characters in the group seem to get some real background/depth. Hopefully the writers can keep it up.

Instead nice date in ep.7 but she, Blooter or Atom's bitter experience can't help Bunta with confession ideas... Will Sayuki (or brother)'s chopper really lock him down? btw, considering futanari Teruha's edits on their work 'Undo' fits her

So they got the game finished in time. Yuka is also starting to see that bunta likes sayuki. Looks like some more trouble will come with the marketing to get as many customers as possible.

What did the writers do? This was a way too easy last episode. All went well and all of them stay in the group...where is the problem with marketing? What about the feelings for Bunta? Nothing of that anymore. Sure it had to end but to ignore these anymore was disappointing.
In all this series was a 7 out of 10 but it could have been much more.

Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu (TV series 12 eps) winter 2016 - 7/10
ShoKoMeza OAD (unaired ep.13) spring 2016 - 6/10

I will watch the OVA when it has English subs. If it is just for fanservice it probably won't be worth the wait

. This series really needs to get a good OVA to finish. Or maybe a second season...

.in case you haven't seen it subbed in english yet i found streams, some sites as Animeplus or AnimeDreaming last week... Also just to let you know it's not only fanservice, they took months like Reikenzan's finale but still I hope for S2 too
