Question bout quotes..

Ok. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. But I got a question. I havent been on the forums in a while..so I forgot. Uum, how can i quote what someone else said without having to quote EVERYTHING in the post and then editing out what I dont need.

Am I making any sense? Like when you push the quote button on someones post, it shows EVERYTHING that person typed. Well editing everything out is time consuming..is there a faster way?

Also..if someone doesnt mind..can you post..everything on quoting..like how to quote or something...I feel really stupid right now..but also lost..so..

You just have to mark the text which you want to quote, then paste it into your post, mark it again and click on the button quote which lies over your text field .

some as what he said but basicly you have to do it manually. with those copy paste and your [ quote ] [ / quote ] stuff around it and if you want to quote the name it have to be like [ quote=person name ] message [ / quote ] and of course without the space.

but that might take more time if u not experience so i sugest do the quote thing the type a bit then preview post then delete what u dont want at that time and add your message.

Also, if you ever forget, you can always just quote someone, make the post, and then go to edit post. The quote tags will be shown in their entirety so that you'll be able to figure it out yourself. Just make sure you either delete your post or edit it to look like what it's supposed to be before getting called a spammer ;P
