Plot: Heavily inspired by Old Testament's Book of Enoch, the game tells the story of Enoch, a high priest looking for seven fallen angels with the goals of returning what they stole to heavens, so God does not unleash the second great flood. He is accompanied by a mysterious and shady angel, Lucifer, who has been appointed by the god to be the guardian of the world and exists outside the flow of time. Lucifer continuously speaks to god through his cellphone.

Gameplay: Game is a mix of DMC, Kingdom Hearts and Okami. Graphically and artistically game is very abstract and unique looking. There are no limits or logic for the level designs or any designs at all. There are three main weapons with entirely different gameplays each

Impressions:
Got to play quite a bit the Japanese version. Very unique game in the looks. Have yet to find any other game ever to have this much creative freedom allowed. Levels range from completely abstract to something out of psychedelic dreams. And now with US and EU release dates announced, I am surely going to buy it.

Demo gameplay.


- VERY minimalistic UI.
- HP of you and your enemies is shown only visually by how much armor they have left. No huds or other thingies.
- DEMO is basically a demo level with mashed up various areas from game and no plot spoilers. It shows how game works and how weapon-stealing works.

Just heard of this over at TimCAD's (guy who does Ctrl-Alt-Del webcomics) twitter feed. It definitely looks interesting, I'll be keeping my eye out for it when it's released. Probably be a rental, but if it's really good then I might buy.

BTW, was watching that demo gameplay video. That player was annoying the hell out of me xD
