I really don't have the time to do that, however I do skim through a few to see what looks the most interesting, and then purchase it or leave. I live not too far from a Barnes & Noble, so I'm able to go there within walking distance. I might try reading there sometime, but then that would spoil it if it was a good book and I want to buy it. I'd love so much to skim through newer books that are sealed with plastic to see if they're even remotely good. The only time I ever got a dirty look was from a store manager when I was skimming through some imported dojinshi. I know that's pretty much common for browsing through hentai or any type of pornographic magazine/book, but these were a good size and fairly expensive, so I'd like to know what I'm about to purchase either way.
