I had seen Card Captor Sakura anime ages ago, but I recently decided to read it.

I was very pleased with the manga. It was better than the anime, no surprise really, and it was solid.

I decided to read Tusbasa Chronicles since I liked Card Captor Sakura and the ending kinda piised me off. I had started reading Tsubasa Chronicles, but I got bored, but this time around I actually loved it. It's much better than Card Captor Sakura.

Nearing the end you find out that the Original Sayoran is actually the son of Card Captor Sakura and Lee, which is very cool. It feels like a small sequel to it, now when I see they are actually connected.

Now the point of this topic. is Tsubasa Chronicles cameo to XXXHolic? I also tried reading XXXHolic ages ago, but got bored quickly. I'll repick anyhow since I am loving CLAMP right now, but is it really cameo?

I mean in Tsubasa Chronicles Watanuki gives all his memories to help Sakura, so....

Tsubasa Chronicles manga topic: http://boards.fansub.tv/?showtopic=5261&hl=tsubasa

Tsubasa Chronicles and xxxholic both started around the same time so it's hard to say which was the chicken or the egg. To be honest, I've always treated xxxHolic and Tsubasa Chronicle as one story, especially as it went into greater depth. CLAMP is notorious for reusing characters from their previous works in one form or another (see Chobits, X, Wish, or Kobato). So I wouldn't call it a cameo since this is simply CLAMP's usual style. They make originals once every so often, but usually you'll find character re-hashes.

MOD Note: Not sure why this was closed without proper reasoning here, but I reopened it just in case anyone else would like to comment on this.

P.S. The typo in the title should be fixed:
"Card Captor Sakura and TSUbasa Chronicles" instead of "Tusbasa"

Jejeje.

Well I now started in xXxHolic and I am confused.

I can't figure out when Watanuki gave his memories.

I really like xXxHolic. It's really good.

Also I kinda liked the manga better. I felt it moved faster and it was a lot more fluid. It felt really short though.

Let me know how you like it dude.
