Not sure I understand what you are looking for? A kind of librairy to catalog your animes, manga and where they are on your disk?

Yeah that would be great, a software that can classify your animes and manga. It sure would make my life easier and the hard disk would look much better. Actually my hdd too is like a mess with animes all over the place...hehe..have to burn them and delete systematically.....

this isn't about anime nor manga software. What you're describing is a databasing or inventory software. I use a few GNU-based inventory software titles to organize my anime and manga titles. Basically, it organizes all my media but I have them subcatagorized into manga, anime, documentory, projects, unlicensed, licensed, business relate, class related, registration related, ongoing, resource material, reference material, etc.

There are many forms of databasing software. The one I use I like because I can name the extention and choose where to file those. It also has a SDK so I chose to use that to run a quickviewer.

But, yeah getting back to what you specifically need. You should get an inventory or catalogging software. There are dozen of free versions on zdnet, and other sites. Don't get them off cnet! cnet is selling info and monitoring all downloads and selling that data to companies. we don't know what they do with the data. But our modellers show that the data can actually predict what users are doing by cross-referencing that data with the software hardware config and mini-process scans that cnet runs before accessing downloads. So once again, don't download from cnet. get it from GNU, or zdnet at least we know those two sites are clean so far.
