Hayate no Gotoku

Wewt. i just started this manga and ive read up to Volume 6 currently scanlated by a group called Mushishi (gawd i hated that show ). the latest raw ive seen is Volume 11 while VIZ has released up to Volume 3.

English Title: Hayate the Combat Butler

The story is based on sixteen year old Ayasaki Hayate, a poor looking, poorly treated and accident prone high school kid. Hayate is generally good natured and endures the terrible routines he faces each day. He lives by his theory of the earnest and diligent will always have the last laugh. At least until on one Christmas Eve, his parents gambling and loaning addictions have landed him a 150 million yen debt. The solution his parents came up with: sell their son to the yakuza. Making a quick escape, he ends up attempting kidnap on Sazenin Nagi, an incredible rich little girl. With a little mix up in words, Nagi falls in love with Hayate and hires him as her personal butler.

This anime combines many genres and results in a fine product for otakudomnesshipthingy :/. Its includes action, romance, comedy, drama, action and more romance with a hint of harem. It makes many references to other titles.

I'll rate this a 9/10. You'll like this title if you liked Lucky Star and Love Hina.

No matter how many volumes I have read, I still cannot believe Hayate's luck. Beyond imagination. Yeah there were lots of anime/manga/real life parodies in the manga. For example, one of the parodies in volume 8 - Hayate : Since its boring, why not create the S0S-dan? That had me laughing.

You forgot mecha and fanservice.

Damn chapter 157 was soooooo good, simply because Hayate actually showed some interest in one of the girls.

That got me by surprise, the new girl is actually pretty funny. XD

I also love how Ouja-Sama is not like a stuck up bitch, even she is rich. I mean I would be pretty pissed is someone was putting a bird and bread crumbs on my head to wake me up. >.> but that's just me, I'm sure.
